Bernt Kuhlmann, principal of Lifestyle Resort Solutions, grew up in Europe. His views of resort dynamics were inspired by the iconic places and spaces he has lived in and was surrounded by.



In 1994 he teamed up with a friend, Christoph Henkel, and became managing partner of Dunton, LLC, the company in charge of developing Dunton Hot Springs.

In 1999 he became managing partner of Page-One, LLC the company in charge of programming the development of Amangiri.

​

In 2009 he moved to Austin, TX and formed Lifestyle Resort Solutions. 

​

During his travels, he has visited many iconic cities, castles, monasteries, villages, and resorts around the world.  He has studied and analyzed the spacial, textural, social and environmental components that turn a place into a comforting and inspiring lifestyle experience for its visitors and residents.
